Explore various joinery commonly used for constructed wooden objects. Deepen your understanding of the functional and aesthetic reasons to choose one technique over another. This hands-on class will give students the opportunity to explore a variety of joints on sample material, including: mortise and tenon, finger, hand-cut dovetail, and biscuit.

Please note: No experience required. Assigned project materials and supplies included. Additional materials/supplies can be purchased in class. Natural fiber clothing, long pants, and closed-toe shoes are required while working at CIADC.
