CIADC Member Workshop Series: Green Sand Molds for Metal Casting
Join us for our ongoing Member-exclusive Workshop Series held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at CIADC!
Using the "Green Sand" reusable molding material in the Metal Casting Shop allows you to make simple forms with less waste and less cost. In this 1-hour workshop, learn about the differences between three mold types of resin-sand, lost wax investment, and green sand and the benefits of each mold type. Experience the demonstration of techniques for preparing the pattern and packing the sand for relief molds.
