Using the "Green Sand" reusable molding material in the Metal Casting Shop allows you to make simple forms with less waste and less cost. In this 1-hour workshop, learn about the differences between three mold types of resin-sand, lost wax investment, and green sand and the benefits of each mold type. Experience the demonstration of techniques for preparing the pattern and packing the sand for relief molds.

Using CNC fabrication provides you the opportunity to create precise detailed designs on an array of surfaces. Learn to take a smooth 3D design and digitally overlay a 2D vector linework design.
