Tour of Renowned Crab Tree Farm Collection

CIADC Members and a Guest are invited to a private tour of Crab Tree Farm on Saturday, May 5th from 10 am to 1 pm.

Crab Tree Farm http://www.crabtreefarm.org is a living museum just north of Lake Bluff. Several of the buildings display Arts and Crafts collections in settings that have been created to reflect the aesthetics of the Arts and Crafts movement. In addition to these buildings there is a full time woodworker, Mike Jarvi, with an active workshop specializing in bent wood furniture. A highlight of past tours is a piece of Cloud Gate, “The Bean”, created as a prototype on display in the gardens. This is a unique opportunity that is only available to a handful of private groups each year so don’t miss out!

Cost is $20 per person (to be paid day of event), an includes lunch. Everyone will meet at the Farm in Lake Bluff on May 5th.

Please RSVP with number of people attending to admin@ciadc.org no later than April 21st.  Act now, we can only accommodate 20 people!
